That's fine, just what I was expecting and at least that is hand friendly. We start with the egg rolls and it's pure grease with no flavor. We purchased 2 vegetable egg rolls and a vegetable lo mein which apparently does NOT include eating equipment. We're in a hotel.with a diner next door, they probably have everything. What is missing you ask? Chopsticks or a fork or any kind of utensil that I can use to eat this terrible food. When we got back to the hotel, we opened the bag to discover the food, 2 packets of duck sauce, 2 packets of soy sauce, 2 packets of the other stuff, and 2 fortune cookies. we just wanted to take back something to eat in the hotel room. A long time Saugerties resident who reportedly grew up next to the Dragon Inn. That means she probably appreciates the history and the beauty of the building. And every time I would pass it over the years I couldn’t help but to think that it was such a waste of a stately old building.įast forward to now, I was skimming through my emails, and I noticed one from the Kingston Daily Freeman that mentioned that the Dragon Inn has been sold to a Saugerties resident. And full of memories for countless people. I wasn’t working in Kingston anymore, but I remember thinking how sad it was. In the early 1990s, there was a fire at the Dragon Inn. ![]()
